ValueCAD Dellivers US Army Corps of Engineers West Columbus LPP GIS Data Set In Partnership with AERO-METRIC, INC.
ValueCAD in partnership with AERO-METRIC, INC. recently delivered an ESRI Geodatabase of the West Columbus Local Land Protection project to the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Huntington District. This project involved creating a Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) compliant dataset by migrating existing USACE data sets and the creation of new data from various archived data sources. ValueCAD reviewed current ESRI shapefiles, several hundred as-builts and ortho photographs, using this source information to digitally capture and/or spatially correct the features identified by the USACE for the entire West Columbus LPP GIS Data set coverage area.

ValueCAD is Awarded Contract with International Manufacturer
ValueCAD has been awarded a multi-year contract with an international manufacturer to provide AutoCAD drafting and design support, plus customized programming to aid in the creation of an updated tooling library using AutoCAD blocks. This library will be customized to meet the clients need to assemble existing tools or to design new tools. ValueCAD is creating the tool library from current and newly created tools, and assisting in the migration from hardcopy and digital archival drawings to the new library for more efficient processing in the manufacturing of the clients final components. This custom tool library will assist our client in their support of multiple departments and suppliers.
